JE Entertainment Desk: The audience is eagerly waiting for the OTT release of Akhil Akkineni and Mammootty-starrer 'Agent'. The movie will reportedly release on SonyLiv but its OTT release date got delayed several times. Even though there was a lot of hype about 'Agent', it did not perform well at the box office.

Telugu cinema has produced some amazing spy-thriller with themes similar to 'Agent'. Here's the list of spy-thriller you can watch on OTT platforms.

1. Goodachari

Starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Jagapathi Babu in the lead role, 'Goodachari' revolves around Gopi, who is recruited into RAW but gets trapped in a conspiracy to kill two RAW officials. He fights to clear his name and find the people responsible as he gets declared a wanted terrorist. The movie is streaming on Prime Video.

2. Vishwaroopam

Written, directed and produced by Kamal Haasan, 'Vishwaroopam' revolves around Nirupama, an ambitious woman studying in the US, who gets suspicious of her husband Viswanathan, a classical dancer, and decides to hire a detective to investigate his true identity and past. Kamal Haasan also stars in the lead role in 'Vishwaroopam' alongside Rahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Nassar and Jaideep Ahlawat.

3. Spyder

Starring Mahesh Babu, S.J. Suryah and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, 'Spyder' revolves around Shiva, an Intelligence Bureau officer, who sets out to save the people of Hyderabad when he realizes that a psychopath is on the loose. The movie is streaming on Netflix.

4. Rudranetra

Directed by K Raghavendra Rao, 'Rudranetra' stars Chiranjeevi, Vijayashanti, Radha, and Rao Gopal Rao in the lead role. The movie revolves around Netra, who works for a detective agency and is assigned a mission to track down the underworld activities of an influential personality. It is streaming on MX Player.

5. Gudachari 116

'Gudachari 116' stars Krishna, Jayalalitha, Rajanala and Mukkamala in the lead role and is the first spy film in Telugu cinema. The movie revolves around Secret Agent 303, who is killed after gathering photographic evidence against an international criminal gang. After his death, Agent 116 tries to uncover the truth about his colleague's murder. It is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
