In an interview with GQ India, Vijay Varma had candidly spoken about his relationship with Tamannaah. He had confirmed their romance, saying, "I think it’s fairly understood now that we are dating each other. I am happy and madly in love with her." The actor even humorously added, "I call this my ‘I’ve ended my villain era and gotten into the romance era’ phase of life."

Tamannaah, too, had always been vocal about her admiration for Vijay. During a conversation with Film Companion, she described him as someone she deeply respects and shares an effortless bond with. She emphasized how their connection blossomed with complete honesty, as Vijay approached her with no pretence, making it easy for her to reciprocate the same emotions.

Their love story reportedly began after working together on Lust Stories 2, but not on set. During a chat with Tanmay Bhat on Netflix India’s YouTube channel, Vijay recalled how a wrap party was planned but never happened. Instead, a small group, including him and Tamannaah, decided to meet separately. It was during this gathering that he realized he wanted to spend more time with her. However, it took him nearly a month before he finally asked her out on their first date.

Though their romantic journey has now come to an end, the two continue to share mutual respect and admiration for each other. A source close to them revealed that they had parted ways weeks ago but remain on good terms as per a report by Pinkvilla. Both actors are currently focusing on their individual careers and busy schedules.
