Quitting Alcohol
In the first week of the show, Pooja Bhatt dropped a major bomb revealing her alcohol habit and how she quit it. According to ETimes, having a conversation with Cyrus on the show she said, "I told Cyrus the other day about how I quit alcohol.It was a very simple thing. One day my father sent me a message,"I love you kid" and I replied to him, "I love you pops".
He then replied to me that if you genuinely love me then first start loving yourself because I live inside you." That was like a wake-up call to me and after that, I did not touch alcohol ever. My point is whether he is physically around me or not if I'm there he's here. That did it for me and love can move mountains. It healed my life. The next day I quit alcohol and it's been six years now I've not touched it."
Marriage With Manish Makhija
Pooja Bhatt tied knot with VJ and restaurant owner Manish Makhija. However, after a run of 11 years, the couple parted ways. Talking about it she said, "I was married for almost 11 years then we decided that something is not right and it is not working out. We should not live a lie and it is not a dress rehearsal. You get one chance in life. He was part of the entertainment industry. He is a very good human being, he's Capricorn and that's why we got along very well."
Pooja Bhatt Being Called Alia Bhatt's Mother
In the show Elvish and Abhishek were seen discussing how the two never ended up watching a single film of Pooja Bhatt, and how people confuse her to be Alia Bhatt's mother. On which she said, "It is completely fine if you haven't watched it."
She continued and said, "This generation doesn't know me much. I remember once at the airport a mother and daughter came running to me when the mother wanted to click a picture with me and the daughter was least interested. When the daughter asked her who I was, her mother called me Alia Bhatt of the 90s, it was a proud moment."
Left The Opportunity To Be Casted In 'Aashiqui' Because Of This Reason
Pooja Bhatt was finalized to be the lead actress in 'Aashiqui.' However, her then boyfriend refused to marry her if she entered into the stream of acting and dropped the idea of becoming an actress. Opened About Never Having Kids
Pooja Bhatt and Bebika were seen candidly having a conversation about having kids. Pooja Bhatt then disclosed that she has finalized on not having kids and said, "They are very practical in life and nobody can be a better father than them." Pooja added, "But I wasn't ready to have kids at that point. I want kids and I love kids but at that point, I didn't want kids. I couldn't lie at the risk of never meeting somebody, I couldn't lie. It's fine but I cannot lie."
