A young man was murdered in the Nathupur Mandi area of Gurugram's DLF Phase 3. The victim's roommate allegedly slit his throat with a knife and is currently on the run.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 am on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Rahul, a native of Etah district in Uttar Pradesh, who had been employed at a private company in Gurugram for several years.
According to reports, Rahul was living in a rented room with a group of people. Early Thursday morning, a dispute broke out between Rahul and the accused. The argument escalated, and the accused attacked Rahul with a knife, killing him before fleeing the scene.
After being alerted by others in the room, local police arrived at the location. Teams from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and fingerprint experts were also called in to collect evidence. The police have recovered the knife used in the crime and have sent the victim's body for a post-mortem examination.

Officials from the DLF Phase 3 police station have confirmed that an investigation is underway and they expect to arrest the suspect soon.
