State Bureau, Lucknow: BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Sunday held meetings with the leaders of the party's allies in the state to discuss strategies to ensure the NDA's victory in the 2027 assembly elections.
During the meetings, Nabin emphasised that strong mutual coordination is crucial to form a third consecutive government in the state with a 'thumping majority'. While the discussion focused on alliance unity and election preparation, no talks regarding seat sharing took place.
The BJP National President informed the leaders that the next alliance meeting would be held in Delhi. BJP State President Pankaj Chaudhary and State General Secretary (Organisation) Dharampal Singh were also present throughout the meetings.

BJP President Holds Separate Meeting With Allies
Nabin held separate meetings with the party's four state allies on Sunday at the Hotel Taj to discuss strategies for the 2027 assembly elections.
During his meeting with Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) National Organisation General Secretary Trilok Tyagi, Nabin asked him how and what should be done for the upcoming elections. Tygai emphaissed that establishing proper coordination among all alliance partners down to the district level is crucial, adding that mutual respect among the parties would encourage workers to contest the elections enthusiastically together.
He further stated that the RLD's followers are present throughout the state and the party is actively organising events across the state.
Nabin noted that the BJP is also focusing more on better coordination. Speaking to the media later, Tyagi said, "We will contest 403 seats, with different symbols."
The BJP National President also met Minister Ashish Patel, National Vice President of Apna Dal (S), to discuss strategies for winning the 2027 assembly elections. During the meeting, Patel stated that all allies will work together across the state with better coordination, expressing confidence in another victory.
Rajbhar Suggests Caste Inclusion And Ground-Level Administrative Reforms
Suhasdev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) National President and Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar informed the BJP National President that his party has already appointed assembly in-charges and co-in-charges for 83 seats, with booth-level training programs currently underway.
During the discussion, Rajbhar highlighted that several politically active communities in the state, such as the Gond, Kharwar, Arkvanshi, Banjara, Pal, and Prajapati castes, lack adequate political leadership. He suggested providing political representation to these castes and specifically raised the issue of the Gond and Kharwar communities not being issued ST certificates.
Additionally, he pointed out that due to some officials in the state, the work of ordinary people is not being done at the police station, tehsil, and block levels, which is tarnishing the government's image. He emphasised that this issue should be addressed.
Along with proposing a coordination meeting between the allies, Rajbhar also invited Nabin to attend major upcoming events organised by the party in Azamgarh, Basti, and Deoria.
Nishad Party Chief Demands Better Representation And Reservation Definition
Dr Sanjay Nishad, president of the Nishad Party, also called for increased coordination among alliance partners during his meeting with Nabin. Highlighting the state's Nishad population, he called for increasing their political representation and submitted a memorandum demanding a definition regarding the reservation for the Nishad community.
