Aero India Show 2025, one of Asia’s largest aerospace and defence exhibitions, is set to take place in Bengaluru from February 10 to 14 at Yelahanka Air Force Station. Organised by the Ministry of Defence in collaboration with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the Department of Space, the five-day event will showcase cutting-edge aviation technology and thrilling aerial performances.
Fighter jets have already begun rehearsal flights and thousands of aviation enthusiasts are expected to attend. If you are looking to attend the event in Bengaluru, here are the things that you must know before visiting Aero India Show 2025:
Aero India Show 2025 Visitor Registration
Visitors must register on the official Aero India website by selecting the ''Visitor Registration'' section. There are two types of passes available:
Business Pass: Rs 5,000 for Indian nationals; USD 150 for foreign nationals (valid for business days from Feb 10–12, includes exhibition access and a car parking pass).
General Visitor Pass: Rs 2,500 for Indian nationals; USD 50 for foreign nationals (valid on public days).
How To Register For Aero India Show 2025
Visit the official website at aeroindia.gov.in.
Click on "Visitor Registration" and select your pass category.
Fill in the required details and make the payment.
Upon successful registration, a confirmation email with the pass details will be sent.
Parking And Transport Guidelines
Visitors with parking passes should take Airport Road, cross the flyover at IAF Hunasemaranahalli, make a U-turn, and follow the service road to Gate No. 05. They must exit via Gate No. 05A through Reva College Junction. Those without parking passes should use designated parking areas at GKVK Campus or Jakkur Airfield. Free BMTC shuttle buses will transport visitors to the venue.
How To Reach Yelahanka Air Force Station
The venue is about 25 km from Bengaluru city and near Kempegowda International Airport. Travel time from the airport to the exhibition site is approximately 40-45 minutes. Due to limited parking, visitors are advised to use taxis, public transport, or shuttle buses from designated parking areas.
Event Timings And Security Checks
The exhibition will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Two air shows will be held each day—one in the morning and another in the afternoon.
Visitors must carry a valid government-issued ID for security checks, which will be strictly enforced.
Important Tips for Visitors
Arrive Early: Parking can take up to 1.5 hours to find a spot.
Wear Comfortable Attire: Expect long walking distances.
Carry Cash: Digital payment options may not be available everywhere.
ID Requirement: A government-issued ID is mandatory for entry.
