Agra Rape Case:  In a disturbing case from Agra’s Sita Nagar area, a man allegedly made his friend rape his wife and filmed the assault. The accused then allegedly used the video of the incident to blackmail her to demand Rs 2 lakh and threatened her to release the video online. Police have registered a case and arrested both the husband and his friend.

The victim works as a labourer and is the mother of a 12-year-old boy. The victim revealed that her husband only visits their home occasionally. In September, he returned to Agra with a friend from Achhnera. After dinner which was bought from an outside market, the woman went to sleep with her son, unaware of what would happen next.

Later, when the woman woke up, her husband demanded Rs 5,000 for "some work," which she gave him. Days later, he called again, this time demanding Rs 2 lakh. When she questioned the reason, he showed her a video, revealing the horrifying incident. On seeing the video, the woman realised that her husband had allegedly intoxicated her and recorded the sexual assault by his friend.

Shocked and distraught by the horrific act, the woman pleaded with him not to release the video on the internet, but her husband refused to back down from his demands and asked for Rs 2 lakh. The woman approached the nearest Etmaddaula police station and lodged a complaint. The police have registered a case and have arrested her husband and his friend.

"A woman has filed a complaint against her husband in Etmaddolla police station of Agra claiming that he got her raped by his friend. The woman said that her husband got her raped by his friend after giving her intoxicants and also made a video. The husband also demanded Rs 2 lakh from his wife. He threatened to make the video viral if the wife did not give him Rs 2 lakh. The husband also sent the video to his wife’s mobile. The police have registered a case under relevant sections and arrested the woman’s husband and his friend," Agra ACP Hemant Kumar said.
