After the successful G20 Summit, the national capital is once again ready to host a major global event. The India AI Impact Summit 2026 will take place from February 16 to 20 at Bharat Mandapam.

This summit is being called the biggest platform on Artificial Intelligence so far in India, coming after France hosted a similar event. Leaders from 15 countries, more than 50 ministers and delegates, and over 40 CEOs from top companies like Microsoft, Google, and Meta are expected to attend.

Delhi Police began preparations right after Republic Day for the AI Impact Summit 2026. Thousands of police personnel received special training, and rehearsals have been conducted for many days to check every detail.

Real-Time Monitoring With 500 CCTV Cameras

Security has been made multi-layered, covering air and ground. Five anti-drone systems and four air defence guns have been deployed at Bharat Mandapam to deal with any aerial threat immediately.

More than 500 CCTV cameras have been installed across the area, with a mini control room set up for 24-hour real-time monitoring.

On the ground, 20 to 25 anti-sabotage teams will carry out continuous checks, while 12 bomb disposal squads will stay on standby. Arrest teams with buses are ready to handle any protest or emergency situation.

Delhi Traffic Arrangements Heightened

Around 4,000 to 5,000 traffic police personnel will be on duty. The entire area has been divided into 10 zones and 22 sectors, with DCP and ACP-level officers supervising each one.

AI Summit 2026: Special Arrangements For Guests

Special care has been taken for the movement and stay of the guests. Heads of state and delegates will be brought from the airport to hotels under tight security using bulletproof vehicles.

Guests will stay in 10 major hotels in New Delhi, with each hotel under the supervision of a DCP-rank officer. An important meeting will also be held for one day at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in Chanakyapuri.

The summit aims to discuss the future of AI and its global impact, with Delhi fully prepared to ensure the safety and smooth conduct of the event.
