Delhi Car Blast Case: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday vowed the strictest punishment for those behind the deadly car explosion near the Red Fort, saying it will send a stern message across the world that no one would dare to carry out such an attack in India again.
Shah described the attack as 'a cowardly act' and vowed that the government would impose the strictest punishment on the perpetrators once every link in the chain of responsibility is established, news agency PTI reported.

“All those who committed this cowardly act and those behind it will be brought before the law and given the strictest possible punishment. The Government of India and the Ministry of Home Affairs are fully committed to ensuring this,” Shah said.
The deadly explosion occurred near the Red Fort metro station around 7 PM on Monday, killing at least 13 people and leaving over two dozen injured.
Amit Shah Condemns Delhi Blast
The Union Cabinet on Thursday condemned the Delhi car blast as a “heinous terror incident” carried out by “anti-national” forces, instructing investigators to identify and prosecute “the perpetrators, their collaborators, and their sponsors.”
Addressing an event in Gujarat via video conferencing, Shah affirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to ensure strict punishment for those responsible for this terrorist act.

“The punishment given to the perpetrators of the Delhi terror attack will send a message to the world that no one would even dare to think of such an attack in our country again,” PTI quoted Shah as saying.
Shah further said that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is coordinating with all the agencies to track everyone involved in the procurement of materials, transportation, communication, and execution of the attack. He said that the investigation is being closely monitored, with the government focused on filing a charge sheet backed by evidence to meet all legal standards.
“In the last eleven years, the world has accepted India’s fight against terrorism. The country has shown what a strict and sensitive approach means,” he added.
