In a bold statement on Friday, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi warned Pakistan against sponsoring terrorism, saying that if the neighbourhood country wants to retain its place on the map, it must stop supporting terror masters. Addressing the Army post in Rajasthan's Anupgarh, he added that the Indian armed forces will not show the same restrain as they did earlier, hinting at the second version of Operation Sindoor.
India carried out precision strikes under Operarion Sindoor on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) in May following the dastardly Pahalagam terror attack on April 22.
"This time we will not maintain the restraint that we did in Operation Sindoor 1.0. This time we will do something that Pakistan will have to think whether it wants to be in Geography or not. If Pakistan wants to be in Geography, then it must stop state-sponsored terrorism," Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi said in Rajasthan.
"If God intends, you will get an opportunity soon. All the best," Gen Dwivedi added, asking the soldiers to stay alert and ready.

The statement comes after the Air Chief Marshal AP Singh went all guns blazing against Pakistan earlier in the day and termed its claims of downing Indian fighter jets during the four-day military confrontation in May, as "Manohar Kahaniyan" (fabricated stories).
Pakistan has time and again claimed that its army shot down at least 6 Indian fighter jets, including Rafale jets, during the India-Pakistan conflict.
Addressing the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations, Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh said there was no evidence to support Pakistan's claims, while India had shared images of damage caused to Pakistani targets. "Pakistan's narrative is 'Manohar Kahaniyan'. Let them be happy, after all, they also have to show something to their audience to save their reputation. That doesn't matter to me."
