The disappearance of the two boys after leaving for school prompted the police to launch a search operation. Bodoland Territorial Region Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vivek Raj Singh confirmed Neeraj’s detention and stated that critical evidence, including the motorbike and the murder weapon, has been recovered.
When questioned about his motive, Neeraj confessed that he felt neglected and harboured resentment towards their father, citing a lack of attention as the driving force behind his actions, according to officials.
