Ayodhya Ram Mandir Latest Photos: The temple town of Ayodhya welcomed Lord Ram with great fervour and devotion as the grand consecration ceremony was concluded on Monday, January 22. The seven-day ceremony, which began on January 16, culminated today afternoon with Prime Minister Narendra Modi performing the final rituals at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. 

"The divine moment of Pran Prathishta of Shri Ram Lala in Ayodhya Dham is an emotional moment for everyone. It is my good fortune to be part of this unique programme. Jai Siyaram," said PM Modi in an X post.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present at the ceremony. Over 8,000 guests were invited for the ceremony.

The magnificent Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir has been constructed in the traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet, width 250 feet and height 161 feet. It is supported by 392 pillars and has 44 doors.

The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods and goddesses. The idol of Ram Lalla has been placed in the sanctum sanctorum on the temple's ground floor.

The event was attended by prominent people from different walks of life. Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Hema Malini, Jackie Shroff, Madhuri Dixit, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Anupam Kher, Rajnikant, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Sachin Tendulkar, Venkatesh Prasad, Sonu Nigam, Kangana Ranaut flocked to Ayodhya as VIP guests invited to witness the ceremony.
