Amid the growing enthusiasm around Ram Temple's inauguration, the Indian community from across the world is celebrating to commemorate the forthcoming grand event in Ayodhya. The Indian diaspora in the United Kingdom on Saturday organised a car rally in London.

The devotees chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and played the songs hailing Lord Rama.

After the event, a ‘Maha Aaarti’ was organised by the India-UK community to mark the big event.

A participant, Ravi Banot, said the construction of the Ram Temple was a big event for the Hindus. "You see the happiness. It's because it took 500 years to finally see the construction of the temple. There was a desire to build a Ram mandir at the birthplace of Shree Ram and has been built after the decision of Ram Mandir and government support. As we say, Vatican City is a special place for Christians, the golden temple for Sikhs, so now for Hindus, Ram Mandir has become a place for Hindus," news agency ANI quoted him as saying.

"When asked about the excitement in the Indian community in London over the upcoming Independence Day and inauguration of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, he said, "We are happy to see India's growth after Independence. In every field, people are getting confidence in India. It's amazing," he added

Events in the backdrop of the Ram Temple's inauguration have been going on for the last six days. Ram Lalla idol has been placed in the sanctum sanctorum for its Pran Pratishtha on Monday. Today, Ram Lalla's idol will undergo a ceremonial bath with medicated water.
