A 30-year-old software engineer, Harsha HB, was arrested in Bengaluru after allegedly making an obscene gesture at a woman during a road rage incident. The altercation took place near Gopalan Mall on Chickpet Main Road, where the woman accused Harsha of honking aggressively and later showing her the middle finger out of frustration.

According to the complaint, heavy traffic prevented the woman from moving aside, which allegedly led to verbal abuse and the inappropriate gesture. Witnesses, including two female passengers in Harsha's car, reportedly saw the incident unfold.

Distressed by the encounter, the woman recorded the incident and shared it on X (formerly Twitter). The Chamarajpet police took note of her post and encouraged her to file a complaint. Following an investigation, Harsha was taken into custody on Thursday and later released on station bail. Police are currently verifying statements from both sides to establish the full sequence of events.
