Bengaluru Namma Metro Update: The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Friday stated that the operation on a section of the Purple Line will witness a temporary suspension on Sunday. The authority further stated that the services will remain affected due to scheduled crucial maintenance work. While providing details, the BMRCL stated that the repair works will be carried out for an hour from Swami Vivekananda to Baiyappanahalli Metro Stations between 7 AM and 8 AM. It further stated that the services will be affected between Indiranagar and Baiyappanahalli stations during this period. The authority has advised the commuters to stay updated and plan their day accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
However, the BMRCL clarified that the services will resume between these stations from 8 AM onwards. The authority advised the commuters to opt for alternative modes of transportation in emergency situations.
