Bengaluru Namma Metro Update: In a major relief for the commuters of Namma Metro, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has informed that the Yellow Line is set to receive its sixth trainset by the end of November. The authority stated that inclusion of an extra train will reduce the waiting time to 12 minutes, adding that it will provide convenience to thousands of commuters, especially during office hours. The Yellow Line passes through some of the key areas of Bengaluru and connects them with the IT corridor of the city. The operation of the Yellow Line has significantly improved the regional connectivity.

The Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) dispatched the first three coaches of the train on November 17, the Deccan Herald reported, citing BMRCL officials. They added that the remaining three coaches are likely to be dispatched on Wednesday and are set to arrive in the tech city by the last week of November at the Hebbagodi depot. The officials further stated that the coaches will undergo static and mainline tests before inclusion for public use.
