Bengaluru News: A 15-year-old boy in Bengaluru lost his life after his uncle allegedly stabbed him over repeated demands for money to play online games. The incident took place in the Kumbarahalli area of the city.

The victim, identified as Amogh, had dropped out of school and was deeply involved in online gaming. He often asked his maternal uncle, Nagaprasad, for money to continue playing. Nagaprasad, who works as a security guard and lives with Amogh, grew increasingly concerned about the boy’s persistent requests.

According to police reports, the situation escalated on August 4 when Nagaprasad reportedly stabbed Amogh with a kitchen knife while he was sleeping. After the attack, the uncle fled the scene but surrendered to the police at Soladevanahalli station three days later.

Following Nagaprasad’s confession, authorities recovered the weapon believed to have been used in the killing. He has been charged with murder and placed in judicial custody by a Bengaluru court. The family originally hails from Gubbi in Tumakuru district.
