Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: The Bengaluru Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory ahead of the ICDS Golden Jubilee on Friday, November 28. The function, organised by the Karnataka State Women and Child Development Department, will be held at Krishna Vihara (Gate No. 1), Palace Grounds.

About The ICDS Golden Jubilee Function

The event is scheduled to run from 7 AM to 4 PM and will be attended by the Chief Minister, Union and State Cabinet Ministers, other dignitaries, and an estimated 40,000 people. Around 959 vehicles are expected at the venue.

In view of the large gathering, traffic congestion is expected around Krishna Vihara Gate at Palace Grounds, Bellary Road, CV Raman Road, and Jayamahal Road. The Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced special traffic arrangements on key stretches, particularly on Bellary Road, to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Traffic Arrangements For ICDS Golden Jubilee Function In Bengaluru

- Towards Bengaluru Airport: Motorists are advised to follow the route via Old High Grounds Junction - Kalpana Junction - Old Udaya TV Junction - Cantonment Railway Station - Tannery Road - Nagavara to reach the Kempegowda International Airport.

- Towards City Centre From KIA: Vehicles towards the City Centre from the airport are advised to turn left at Hebbal, then right at Nagavara Junction, continuing via Bamboo Bazaar and Queen’s Road. Alternatively, commuters can take Hebbal Ring Road - Kuvempu Circle - Goragunte Palya Junction and proceed along Dr Rajkumar Road.

- Towards Airport From Yeshwantpur: Vehicles coming from Yeshwantpur are advised to turn right at BEL Roundabout, continue along Mathikere Road, and merge onto the Ring Road to reach the airport.

- Towards City From Yeshwantpur: Vehicles heading towards the city from the Yeshwantpur side are advised to take Dr Rajkumar Road to reach their destination.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Check Restrictions And Diversions

- Hebbal Junction: Heavy vehicles coming from Hebbal will be redirected towards the Outer Ring Road and restricted from entering Ballari Road.

- Old High Grounds PS Junction: Vehicles from High Grounds will be redirected via Kalpana Junction - Old Udaya TV Junction - Cantonment Railway Station - Tannery Road - Nagavara.

- Yeshwantpur: Heavy vehicles coming from Yeshwantpur toward CV Raman Road will not be allowed.

Bengaluru Parking Restrictions

The Bengaluru Traffic Police have restricted parking on several roads to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event.

- Palace Road

- Nandidurga Road

- Ballari Road

- C.V. Raman Road

- Jayamahal Road

- Guttahalli Road
