Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: In view of the ‘Last Kartika Monday’ festival on November 17 at the Begur Nagalingeshwara Temple, the Bengaluru Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory to manage the flow of around 80,000 to 90,000 devotees throughout the day. The evening Laksha Deepotsava, or festival of one lakh lamps, is expected to attract large numbers of devotees.

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Check Diversions

In anticipation of severe congestion, the traffic police have placed several restrictions on Begur Road. The following stretches likely to be affected:

- Begur Road: From PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction to Ekana Hospital Junction

- Manipal Country Road: From PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction to Ekana Hospital Junction

- DLF Road: From DLF Junction to Begur Lake Junction

- Begur Road: From Ekana Hospital Junction towards the temple

Check Alternate Routes For Last Kartika Monday Festival

- Vehicles taking alternative routes can turn right at the PK Kalyana Mantapa Junction, proceed via Devarachikkanahalli Road, turn left at DEO Heights, continue through Nyanappanahalli Road to DLF Junction, and take Elenahalli Main Road to reach Begur-Koppa Road. Additionally, those heading towards Manipal County Road can use the Vishwapriya Layout main road via Chikka Begur.

- Commuters should turn left at Falcon Market and proceed via AECS C-Block and Mylasandra to reach Begur Koppa Road and Bannerghatta Main Road.

- Vehicles are advised to take the left at the Ekana Hospital Junction, proceed along DLF Road through Nyanappanahalli, and thereby reach Devarachikkanahalli, Bommanahalli, and Hongasandra.

- Vehicles should turn left at DLF Junction, continue through Nyanappanahalli Road via DEO Heights Layout, to reach Hongasandra and Bommanahalli via Devarachikkanahalli Road.

Authorities have advised motorists to follow the official guidelines and extend cooperation to the on-ground police personnel. They have requested commuters to take alternative routes to avoid congestion.
