Bhojpuri Star Akshara Singh Attends Dhirendra Shastri's Hanumant Katha In Patna, Shares Video | Watch

Bhojpuri actor Akshara Singh on Wednesday attended the Bhavya Darbar of Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham in Bihar's Patna. Today is the last day of Dhirendra Shastri's Hanumant Katha which began on May 13 at Taret Pali Math in Naubatpur locality. Wednesday being the last day of the event, more and more people are pouring in from across the state. Owing to the swelling crowd, several people were prevented from reaching the venue.

After attending the event, Akshara Singh posted a video on Instagram where she could be seen singing religious songs sitting in Bageshwar Baba's court. Posting her video, Akshara Singh wrote, "Jinko duniya sunne ke liye betaab hai unhone mujhe sun liya bahut badi baat hai". Not just Akshara, but her father Bipin Singh was also seen attending the event along with Union Minister Ashwini Choubey.

Akshara Singh's video is receiving a lot of praise from her followers. However, she is also receiving criticism from several social media users over her visit. Commenting on the post, one user wrote that Bageshwar Baba was bored while listening to her. Another user wrote that this is a fantastic method to gain popularity by attending religious events.

Dhirendra Shastri on Monday announced that he would hold a darbar in Gaya on September 29. Bihar is seeing a sharp rise in Baba's fan base. After Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, Bihar is now seeing a surge in his followers. He has been reciting Hanumant Katha in Naubatpur town of Patna district since May 13.

Meanwhile, blackened posters of Dhirendra Shastri at Dak Bungalow Chowk sent the Patna police into a tizzy. The police, however, were clueless about the miscreants. This morning, the locals found the hoardings of godman smeared with black ink at Dak Bungalow Chowk with 420, thief and cheater scribbled on it.
