Since Chandrayaan-3's Vikram Lander successfully touched down near the moon's south pole on August 23, ISRO has released several pictures of the lunar surface, now the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has shared a recently captured photograph of the Chandrayaan-3 lander.

The image was taken by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) spacecraft on August 27, just four days after the historic landing on the moon.

Let's Take A Look At All The Image's Since Chandrayaan-3's Landing

-NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO) recently captured a photograph of Chandrayaan-3 Vikram lander. Sharing the image on social media platform X, the space agency wrote, "LRO spacecraft recently imaged the Chandrayaan-3 lander on the Moon's surface."

-ISRO released an Anaglyph image captured by Chandrayaan-3's Pragyan rover showing the Vikram lander on the moon's surface. "Anaglyph is a simple visualization of the object or terrain in three dimensions from stereo or multi-view images. The Anaglyph presented here is created using NavCam Stereo Images, which consist of both a left and right image captured onboard the Pragyan Rover," the space agency shared.

-Watch: Vikram soft-landed on the moon for the second time after it underwent a "hop experiment". On command, it fired the engines, elevated itself by about 40 cm as expected and landed safely at a distance of 30 – 40 cm away, ISRO said.

-Pragyan rover traversed over 100 meters. It was put to sleep on September 2 ahead of the lunar night.

-Pragyan rover rotates on the lunar surface in search of a safe route. The footage was captured by Vikram lander's imager camera.

-"Smile please": Pragyan rover clicked an image of Vikram Lander through Navigation Camera (NavCam) onboard the Rover.

-Caught on Cam: Pragyan rover came across a 4-meter diameter crater positioned 3 meters ahead of its location.
