Chennai Power Cut News: Chennai residents will experience a temporary power supply suspension in several areas on Tuesday, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This interruption is necessary for maintenance work aimed at improving service reliability.

Chennai Power Cut Sept 24: List of affected areas

Chinmaya Nagar

The outage will impact a wide range of streets, including Sai Nagar Annexe, Kambar Street, Kaliamman Koil Street, and the entire Natesan Nagar area. Other locations affected are Vinayagam Avenue, Raghavendra Colony, Indira Nagar, and parts of SBI Colony, among others.

Chepakkam - Triplicane

Residents in this locality should brace for the power cut affecting Thiruvallikeni Highway, Walaja Road, and several streets such as Annasamy Street and Mayor Chitibabu Street. The disruption will also include areas near Mosque Street and surrounding neighbourhoods.

Villivakkam

In Villivakkam, areas including Sidco Nagar (Blocks 1 to 10), Nehru Nagar, and the Sidco Industrial area will experience the outage. Residents on Rajamangalam Main Road and in North and South Jaganathan Nagar will also encounter power disruptions.

The power supply is expected to resume before 2:00 PM, upon the timely completion of the maintenance activities.
