Chief Justice DY Chandrachud Offers Prayers At Tirupati Temple; Accompanied By Family

Supreme Court Chief Justice DY Chandrachud offered prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala on Sunday. The Chief Justice prayed in the sanctum sanctorum of the revered Tirupati temple where he reached through the Vaikuntha queue complex with his entourage.

The Chief Justice and his family also received the blessings of the temple priests at Ranganayakula Mandapam, New18 reported. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials presented a picture of the deity and prasadams to the CJI.

Earlier on Sunday, CJI visited the Sri Padmavati Ammavaru temple in Andhra Pradesh's Tiruchanur. The priests accorded a traditional welcome to the CJI at the temple where he was accompanied by his family.

“Chief Justice of India, Justice DY Chandrachud, visited Tirumala Srivari temple and offered prayers to the presiding deity of Sri Venkateswara on Sunday,” said an official press release.
