Hotel prices in Navi Mumbai have surged dramatically as excitement builds for Coldplay’s upcoming concerts at DY Patil Stadium in January 2025. Hotels near the venue, including the Courtyard by Marriott and The Park Navi Mumbai, are witnessing skyrocketing rates as fans scramble for accommodations.

The Courtyard by Marriott, situated next to DY Patil Stadium, is fully booked for January 18, 19 and 21, according to Booking.com and Makemytrip.com. This hotel’s proximity to the stadium makes it a prime location, with some rooms offering views of the arena. Guests may have booked these rooms to catch glimpses of the concert from their accommodations, while others secured rooms due to the concert's high demand.

Other premium hotels also saw a significant spike in bookings. A rate comparison between December and January shows a clear increase, reflecting the heightened demand driven by Coldplay’s much-anticipated performances.

The Coldplay concerts have already caused a frenzy among fans. Tickets for the band's initial two shows on January 18 and 19 sold out within hours of going live on September 22, causing BookMyShow’s platform to crash temporarily. In response to overwhelming demand, Coldplay added a third show on January 21.

For those who missed out, Coldplay has announced a limited number of "Infinity Tickets," designed to offer more fans a chance to attend. These tickets will be available on November 22, 2024, at 12 PM IST via BookMyShow, offering a final opportunity for eager concertgoers.
