The Telangana unit of Congress lodged a complaint with the state police chief on Tuesday, accusing the BRS and BJP of conspiring to overthrow the newly elected government. Filed by Telangana PCC general secretaries Kailash Neta, Charukonda Venkatesh, and Madhusudan Reddy, the complaint seeks an inquiry into the alleged conspiracy.
PCC General Secretary Kailash Netha said that the BJP and KCR were attempting to destabilise the government through financial means. He claimed that despite the Congress government's efforts for Telangana's development, BJP leaders, including Raja Singh and BRS representatives Kadiam Srihari and Palle Rajeshwar, predicted the government's fall in six months.
"Congress government is working towards the development of Telangana but BJP Raja Singh and BRS leaders Kadiam Srihari and Palle Rajeshwar stated that after 6 months Telangana government will Fall. We have the majority," said, Kailash Netha, as quoted by news agency ANI.

"But BJP Narendra Modi and K Chandrashekar Rao are trying topple the Government by giving money. So we gave a memorandum to DGP Ravi Gupta, to conduct an inquiry into the matter," he added.
In the recent state Assembly elections, Congress secured victory, claiming 64 seats out of the 119-member Assembly, leading the government transition from the KCR-led BRS. The BJP won 8 seats, AIMIM secured 7, and others claimed 1 seat.
Meanwhile, Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Chairman B Janardhan Reddy tendered his resignation on Monday following a meeting with the newly appointed Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy.
Janardhan Reddy's tenure during the previous BRS government was marred by multiple instances of question paper leaks in recruitment tests.
In response, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Hyderabad Police was formed to investigate the question paper leaks.
