Delhi Election 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday (December 15) released its fourth and final list of candidates for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly Election 2025. In its final list, the party has fielded Kejriwal from New Delhi and Chief Minister Atishi from Kalkaji constituency. Kejriwal will contest against Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit from the New Delhi Seat.

In its fourth and final list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections in 2025, the party has nominated Gopal Rai from Babarpur, Saurabh Bhardwaj from Greater Kailash, Satyendra Kumar Jain from Shakur Basti, Durgesh Pathak from Rajinder Nagar, Somnath Bharti from Malviya Nagar, and Amanatullah Khan from Okhla. These nominations complete AAP's candidate selection for the upcoming polls.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to nominate Parvesh Verma, the son of former Delhi chief minister Sahib Singh Verma from the New Delhi seat, while the Congress party has confirmed Sandeep Dikshit, the son of Sheila Dikshit, the city’s longest-serving Chief Minister, as their candidate. Earlier, Kejriwal said that the battle of New Delhi would be a contest between the common man and the CM’s sons.

Soon after the party released its final list, Kejriwal on Sunday took to X, formerly Twitter and took a jibe at the BJP alleging that the saffron party has no CM face. "BJP is missing. They have no CM face, no team, no planning and no vision for Delhi. They have only one slogan, only one policy and only one mission - 'Remove Kejriwal,' he said in his X post.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is focused on maintaining its dominance after winning 62 out of 70 seats in the 2020 Delhi elections. Arvind Kejriwal has consistently ruled out any alliance with Congress, even though both parties are part of the opposition INDIA bloc. Kejriwal said, "Aam Aadmi Party will fight this election on its strength in Delhi."
