Delhi Car Blast News: Accused Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie has revealed to the investigating agencies that co-accused Dr Shaheen Shahid is his wife and they were formally married at a mosque near the Al-Falah University in 2023. Earlier it was known that Shaheed was Muzammil’s girlfriend.
Sources told The Times of India that Muzammil said they were a couple and had their ‘nikah’ performed at a mosque near the Al-Falah University in September 2023. In accordance to Sharia law, a 'mehr' of Rs 5,000-6,000 was decided.
Muzammil’s Third Hideout Busted
After Fatehpur Taga and Dhauj, the third hideout of Dr Muzammil has been discovered in Khori Jamalpur village. He rented a house here, claiming to be involved in the Kashmiri fruit trade. Muzammil rented the house from the village's former sarpanch, Jumma, jagran.com reported

The investigating agency, however, recovered nothing from the house. Muzammil frequently visited the house between April and July. According to the former Sarpanch, he also met Muzammil regarding his nephew's treatment. His nephew had been diagnosed with cancer and died during treatment in July. During the meeting with the former Sarpanch, Muzammil had mentioned that he wanted to trade in Kashmiri fruits.
Earlier on Monday night, the NIA team brought Dr Muzammil to Al-Falah University. He had been living there for several years and was conducting terrorist activities at the university.
