Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: The Akshardham and Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) 32-km-stretch of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, covering Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, will be ready for opening in the first week of January 2025. This section was initially to be opened by March 2024, but was delayed due to a number of reasons. The complete section will be ready in the next three months. At an event last week, union transport minister Nitin Gadkari said that the two parts of the roads are ready for inauguration.

“The road is ready and can be inaugurated in the next few days. The aim is to open the road before the model code of conduct for the Delhi assembly poll kicks in," the official said, as quoted by a New18 report.
