After the resignation of Delhi Pradesh Congress President Arvind Singh Lovely, the political scenario was very intense in the capital. While party leaders and workers are reaching his residence, the BJP is leaving no chance to attack Congress. Reportedly, the Congress high command is in touch with Lovely and is talking to her about her displeasure.
Meanwhile, during a press conference, BJP State President Virendra Sachdeva took a swipe at Congress over the resignation of Arvinder Singh Lovely.
Virendra Sachdeva said that there the leaders of Congress are opposing giving tickets to people involved in anti-national activities, so Lovely has resigned. The language of resignation of Rajkumar Chauhan and Lovely is the same.
Firstly, going with the corrupt Aam Aadmi Party, then secondly, giving a ticket to Kanhaiya who is associated with anti-national forces. Aam Aadmi Party has mortgaged its honour. Now the round of resignations will not stop in Congress. This will continue further also, he said.
AAP And Congress Alliance's Mismatch: Sachdeva
Sachdeva said that the alliance of AAP and Congress is mismatched. Not everyone who loves the country will be in this alliance. On the question of Congress leaders Arvinder Singh Lovely and Rajkumar Chauhan joining BJP, Sachdeva said that everyone is welcome in our party. Responding to whether he should go back to Congress after the elections, he said that when a new daughter-in-law comes, she is welcomed, but she also has to improve her conduct.
Harsh Malhotra Is Only Candidate For East Delhi Seat: Sachdeva
Responding to whether the BJP will give the ticket to Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely in place of BJP candidate Harsh Malhotra from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Virendra Sachdeva said that our only candidate is Harsh Malhotra and we will file nomination with him on May 1.
According to some media reports, the BJP can field some other candidate in place of Harsh Malhotra from the East Delhi seat. Delhi BJP President has put an end to these questions.
