Delhi-NCR Weather: After days of intense rainfall and waterlogging, the weather in Delhi-NCR has taken a sharp turn unfortunately, not for the better. Residents, who recently grappled with knee-deep water and an overflowing Yamuna River, are now battling sweltering heat and high humidity levels. The rain has stopped, but the discomfort continues.
From September 1 to 8, Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy downpours that led to severe waterlogging across several areas and pushed the Yamuna River above the danger mark. However, as of now, the water level is receding rapidly, and the capital is slowly returning to normalcy.
Delhi-NCR Weather: No Rain Till September 15
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has confirmed that there is no possibility of significant rainfall in Delhi-NCR from September 10 to 15. The skies are expected to remain mostly clear, with passing clouds offering little to no relief. The capital will stay dry and hot, with day temperatures ranging between 33 degrees C and 34 degrees C, and night temperatures hovering around 25-26 degrees C.
Humidity levels are expected to remain high, making the heat feel even more oppressive, especially during September 10 to 12. A slight variation in sky conditions is expected mid-week, with denser cloud cover forecasted for September 13 and 14.

While the region might see light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning on September 14, and sporadic showers on September 15, the overall weather pattern remains dominated by heat and humidity. With no major rainfall expected, residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions against heat-related discomfort.
Uttar Pradesh: Rain Might Return Mid-Week
Meanwhile, the weather in Uttar Pradesh is showing more variability. The IMD has issued a heavy rain alert for September 11 and 12, particularly in eastern parts of the state. Today, scattered rain and thundershowers are expected in both western and eastern UP, although no heavy rainfall warnings have been issued for the day.
On September 15, heavy rain is likely to return, especially in eastern UP. Western UP will see comparatively lighter rainfall, but thunderstorm activity may still occur.
