Delhi Weather Today: Delhiites woke up to yet another chilly morning as cold wave continued to grip the national capital. The city witnessed a thin blanket of fog on Saturday morning, affecting the rail, road, and traffic movement. According to the IMD, visibility in Delhi’s Palam was reduced to 350 meters at 5:30 am today.

However, dense fog continued in north India as visuals on social media showed visibility reduced significantly. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has also forecasted that several states of north India will continue to witness dense fog and cold wave conditions for the next five days.
Several Trains Delayed
Meanwhile, train operations remain affected by the fog and cold wave conditions in the national capital. In a video shared by news agency ANI, passengers at the New Delhi Railway Station were seen awaiting the movement of their scheduled trains.

"We are going to Agra with family... The trains are running late for 3-4 hours. We are facing problems due to it. An alert or a message for train delay was also not received,” one of the passengers identified as Prince told the news agency ANI.

IMD Weather Forecast:
According to the latest bulletin by the IMD, dense to very dense fog will continue to prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh until January 31 morning. The weather department has also forecasted that cold to severe cold day conditions will prevail in Uttar Pradesh until January 30, in Rajasthan until January 28, and in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh until January 27.
Earlier on Friday, the national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 4.7 degrees Celsius, four notches below normal, and a maximum temperature of 20.6 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal.
