Delhi Spiritual Tourism Circuit: Special Buses To Connect Akshardham, Yogmaya Temple, And More | Route, Booking Details

Delhi: In a bid to boost tourism, the Delhi government on Saturday announced plans to launch a spiritual tourism circuit connecting prominent temples across the national capital. Under this initiative, visitors will be able to travel on special tourist buses from Akshardham to the Yogmaya Temple.

Two Special Buses To Be Launched

As part of this initiative, the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) is gearing up to launch two special buses, connecting major temples across the national capital through a systematic route.

The initiative will allow travellers to book their seats directly through the tourism department's 'Dekho Meri Dilli' platform. According to a report by Jagran.com, the tender process for this scheme is currently in the final stages.

Route To Cover Akshardham, Birla Mandir, Yogmaya Temple And More

The proposed route will include:

- Akshardham Temple

- Birla Mandir

- Lord Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple

- Kali Bari Temple (CR Park)

- Yogmaya Temple (Mehrauli)

Officials stated that the buses will travel from one religious site to another, allowing tourists to visit multiple religious sites in a single journey.

Workshop With Prominent Spiritual Leaders

The tourism department is also planning to launch the initiative with two pilot buses to gauge public response. Later this month, a workshop and luncheon with prominent spiritual figures and gurus will be hosted at Akshardham Temple.

Delhi is home to several important places of worship that draw millions of devotees and tourists. Earlier, the Delhi government organised Bhajan Sandhyas at various locations, featuring renowned devotional singers. Similar events have also been held in some colleges as well.
