Delhi Airport Bomb Threat: An email was received by IGI airport's DIAL office on Tuesday with the threat of a bomb inside the Air Canada flight which was scheduled to depart to Toronto. The email was sent at around 10:50 PM. Nothing suspicious was found on the aircraft after a thorough inspection, news agency ANI quoted police as saying.

"On 4th June at 10.50 PM, an email was received in DIAL (Delhi International Airport Limited) office, IGI Airport with the threat of a bomb inside an Air Canada flight which was scheduled to depart to Toronto. Following standard security protocols, a thorough inspection was conducted and nothing suspicious was found. Legal action is under process," Delhi Police said.

Recently, an IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi also received a similar threat. The passengers were evacuated and the aircraft was relocated to an isolation bay for investigation. The Quick Reaction Team reached the spot along with a bomb disposal team and a thorough investigation was done.

This incident occurred days after a bomb threat was emailed to the Ministry of Home Affairs office in Delhi's North Block. India has been experiencing a series of similar threats lately. In addition to the email threat at the Delhi Home Ministry office, several schools and airports have also recently received bomb hoax calls or emails.
