Delhi Traffic Advisory: With Dusshera festivities underway at the historic Red Fort, commuters in the national capital are set to witness significant traffic disruptions this week. The Delhi Traffic Police have issued an advisory, warning commuters to avoid Netaji Subhash Marg and nearby roads as it is expected to remain congested till October 3.
Three major Ramlilas, including Luv Kush Ramlila, Nav Shri Dharmik Ramlila, and Shri Dharmik Ramlila, draw large crowds, which are likely to impact traffic flow in Central and Old Delhi. “As large crowds gather for the celebrations, we have implemented diversions to ensure smooth vehicular flow and public convenience,” Delhi Traffic Police said.
Authorities have advised commuters to plan their journey ahead, use public transport and refrain from going towards the Red Fort during the peak hours.
