Delhi Traffic Advisory: In view of an official function at Mahatma Gandhi Smriti Sthal, Rajghat, on April 20, 2026, to be attended by several dignitaries, the Delhi Traffic Police has announced special traffic arrangements in and around the area.
Commuters travelling towards the airport or railway stations have been advised to plan their travel in advance, avoid the affected stretch, and use the alternate route to avoid inconvenience.

According to the advisory, traffic restrictions and diversions may be imposed between 9 AM and 11 AM on the following key stretches:

Delhi Traffic Advisory: Inauguration Programme At DDU Marg On April 20
In view of the inauguration of the new Central Office of Sanskrit Bharti at 7 AM on April 20, 2026, a large gathering of approximately 1,500 attendees, including dignitaries, is expected at 25, DDU Marg. This is expected to trigger significant traffic congestion on DDU Marg in the adjoining areas.

Traffic Restrictions And Diversions
- Heavy vehicles will be restricted on DDU Marg as per traffic requirements.
- Commuters are advised to avoid DDU Marg (entire stretch between ITO and Minto Road, both carriageways) and Vishnu Digambar Marg during the peak hours of 6 AM to 4 PM.

- ITO Chowk -> Outer Circle -> Chelmsford Road
- BSZ Marg -> Kotla Cut -> Mata Sundari Lane -> Mirdard Chowk -> Minto Road -> NDLS
- BSZ Marg -> Delhi Gate Chowk -> JLN Marg -> Minto Road -> NDLS
