Weather In Delhi: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light drizzle in some areas in Delhi from Wednesday, February 26, onwards. The rain is likely to bring some relief from the ongoing bright sunshine. As per the weather body, western disturbance is the reason behind the change and could lead to a drop in maximum temperatures by up to two degrees. Over the past few days, Delhiites have been dealing with intense sunshine, with daytime temperatures remaining higher than usual.

On Saturday, the Safdarjung weather station recorded a maximum temperature of 24.7 degrees Celsius, which was 0.8 degrees Celsius lower than normal. The previous day, the temperature had reached 26.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature stood at 12.5 degrees Celsius, 0.7 degrees Celsius above normal. The sky remained partially cloudy throughout the day.

Delhi Air Quality In ‘Moderate’ Category

Delhi’s air quality has been in the ‘moderate’ category for the fourth consecutive day, offering a slight improvement from previous levels. As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the 24-hour average AQI on Saturday stood at 155, showing improvement compared to Wednesday’s 180. Over the past few days, Delhi’s AQI has fluctuated between 158 and 160, and experts predict that it will remain in the ‘moderate’ range for the coming days.

Delhi 7-Day Forecast

In the coming week, Delhi is expected to see varying weather conditions. While Sunday will have partly cloudy skies, Monday and Tuesday are likely to be clear. By Wednesday, cloud cover will return, and Thursday may bring light rain. Cloudy skies are expected to persist on Friday and Saturday as well. This shift in weather is anticipated to provide some respite from the rising temperatures and dry conditions.
