Delhi Weather Update: The national capital witnessed the densest fog on Monday, which severely disrupted daily life and a large number of flights. Prompting this, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert for moderate to dense fog during the morning hours on Tuesday.

The weather department has forecast that the maximum temperature is expected to be 23 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to dip to 9 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department had issued a yellow alert for Tuesday morning, forecasting moderate to dense fog across Delhi, which is expected to combine with pollution to form smog. While the sky is anticipated to clear during the day, winds are forecast to blow at 15 to 25 km/h.

According to the weather forecast, the temperatures will be around 23 degrees Celsius during the day and 9 degrees Celsius at night. Following this, the IMD has forecast light fog during the morning hours on Wednesday, which will gradually clear up during the day.

- December 16: The IMD has issued a yellow alert for moderate to dense fog. Daytime temperatures will be around 23 degrees Celsius and 9 degrees Celsius at night, accompanied by high humidity and reduced visibility.

- December 17: Shallow fog is likely in the morning, with no warning issued. Day temperatures will be around 25 degrees Celsius, while nights will remain cold, at around 11 degrees Celsius.

- December 18: Shallow fog may occur during early hours, with no warning. Temperatures will be near 24 degrees Celsius during the day and 9 degrees Celsius at night.

- December 19: Shallow morning fog is likely with no warning issued. The day's high will be about 24 degrees Celsius, and the night’s low will be 9 degrees Celsius.

- December 20: Shallow fog is likely in the morning, with no warning. Daytime temperatures will stay near 23 degrees Celsius, while the nighttime temperature will drop to 9 degrees Celsius.

- December 21: Moderate fog may develop in the morning, with no warning issued. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius and the minimum around 10 degrees Celsius.
