Weather Update: As the city begins to gleam with the start of festival season, the weather in the national Capital, Delhi, and the National Capital Region (NCR), begins to turn to winter. The upcoming winter season appears to be no different from previous ones, as the air quality in the city and surrounding areas begins to deteriorate ahead of winter.
Delhi-NCR Weather Today
The weather conditions in the national capital have begun to show signs of winter as mornings are often hazy and foggy, and nights are colder. As per the latest weather bulletin released by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weather in Delhi-NCR, including cities like Noida and Gurugram, is expected to remain clear with mist and Haze in the morning.
Delhi-NCR Weather Forecast: Shallow Fog Begins From Tomorrow
The weather bulletin anticipates that the weather in Delhi and NCR districts, including Noida, Gurugram, and Faridabad, will begin to change from tomorrow, with smog and shallow fog during morning hours. The weather in the later part of the day will mainly remain clear with hist and haze in the air from noon onwards.
Similar weather conditions are likely to persist on Diwali and the day after that.
Delhi Air Quality Index
The air quality index in the national capital continues to remain in the poor category, like yesterday morning, with the AQI at 252 around Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium area, as per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
