Devendra Fadnavis will take the oath as Maharashtra's 21st Chief Minister tomorrow at Mumbai's Azad Maidan, beginning his third term in office. The BJP leadership has chosen Fadnavis as its candidate for the top job, potentially putting an end to the long-running speculation about who would be appointed chief minister. Fadnavis, a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and one of the primary figures behind the Mahayuti's success in the Maharashtra elections, is set to take over as Chief Minister once more following a stunning electoral victory.
