The Delhi High Court on Friday saw a legal drama between two lawyers over accusations of interrupting one another while arguing the high-profile case of industrialist Sunjay Kapur's Rs 30,000 crore estate.

The proceedings were underway on a petition filed by the children of Karisma Kapoor, seeking one-fifth share each in the industrialist's assets. Advocate Mahesh Jethmalani was representing them against Sunjay's wife, Priya Sachdev's lawyer, Rajiv Nayar.

A 21-second video between Jethmalani and Nayar has surfaced in which they were engaged in a verbal spat. During the argument, Jethmalani was starting to speak when Nayar suddenly said, "Please don't interrupt me. I am not used to interruptions."

To this, Jethmalani said, "You should get a taste of your own medicine then. And don't shout at me. Please don't shout at me."

While Nayar again retorted with "You interrupted me." Jethmalani raised his voice, saying, "Do not shout at me. Have some courtesy to the council. If you shout, you will get paid back in coin."

The incident briefly stalled the proceedings. Karisma and Sunjay's daughter, Samaira, and son, Kiaan, have filed the petition through their mother.

Sunjay's wife, Priya has claimed that the suit demanding a one-fifth share each is not maintainable. She said, "This suit is not maintainable at all. I am his legal wife. The claims of love and affection - where was all this when they fought prolonged divorce legal battles in the Supreme Court? Your husband left you several years ago".

In family's legal battle, Sunjay's sister has supported Karishma and his mother has accused Priya of isolating her. Sunjay's mother has claimed to have lost all her assets worth over Rs 10,000 crore and "left without a roof".
