DUSU Election Result 2023 Live: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has won three out of four seats contested in the 2023 Delhi University Students Union elections held on Friday. Meanwhile, candidate of the Congress-affiliated National Students' Union of India (NSUI) won the race for DUSU vice president post.

A total of 24 candidates were in the fray for the four posts of DUSU president, vice-president, secretary and joint secretary.

The students' union election recorded a voter turnout of 42 per cent. This year, nearly one lakh DU students were eligible to vote in the elections. DUSU elections were conducted this year after a gap of three years. It last took place in 2019. The Covid-19 pandemic prevented elections in 2020 and 2021. In 2022, DUSU elections were not held in view of a congested academic calendar.

The ABVP and the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), students' wing of the Congress party, remained the frontrunners in the 2023 DUSU elections till the last round of counting.
