A man was killed, and three others were injured after the tyre of the car they were travelling in burst at high speed, causing the vehicle to overturn multiple times in Haryana's Faridabad. The horrific visual of the incident was recorded in a nearby CCTV camera and has surfaced online. The incident took place on Thursday morning in front of the Bata Metro station. One of the injured is in critical condition.
According to the information, five friends living in Jawahar Colony were on their way to Vrindavan. They had just left Jawahar Colony at 3:30 AM when they met with a road accident on the highway.
The victims have been identified as Saransh, Lakshya, Raghav, Tushar, and Yatharth. They had planned to visit Banke Bihari Ji Temple in Vrindavan on New Year's Day. The five left home and first paid obeisance at the saints' gurdwara located in NIT-1.
They then left for Vrindavan in a Baleno car. Saransh was driving the car, and Lakshya was sitting in the front seat next to the driver. Raghav, Tushar, and Yatharth were sitting in the back seat. After crossing the Neelam Flyover, the car's tire burst as it approached the Bata Metro station.

The car then hit a grill and overturned on the divider. The windshield shattered during the collision. The driver, Saransh, fell onto the road after the car overturned and died from a severe head injury.
The three passengers in the back seat were seriously injured, while Lakshya suffered minor injuries. People present at the scene informed the police. The police arrived and extricated the remaining four from the vehicle and rushed them to the hospital.
"The accident took place around 3.30 am on Thursday as the car, carrying youths from NIT area, was travelling at high speed from the Delhi side towards the Ballabhgarh-Agra road. The driver lost control because of speeding, sending the car into the divider before it overturned three to four times and finally slammed into the grille," TOI reported quoting police.
