Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Update: The much-awaited Vande Bharat Sleeper train is nearing its debut as the first prototype has been dispatched from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, according to the Ministry of Railways. The train will now undergo a series of rigorous trials before it is commercially launched, officials confirmed on Wednesday.

The trials, which are expected to span several weeks, will test the train under various conditions to ensure safety and reliability. According to an official source, the train will undergo a loaded simulation trial, allowing engineers to assess its performance with passengers on board. Vande Bharat Sleeper Features

The prototype of the sleeper train has already been completed and is now ready for field trials. According to ministry officials, the train consists of 16 coaches, including one first-class coach, four two-tier coaches and 11 three-tier coaches. Each seat in the sleeper train is equipped with a dedicated light and bottle holder, adding to the comfort of passengers. The ladders used for accessing upper berths have also been redesigned for greater ease, while the train’s toilets are more spacious and user-friendly, similar to those in the Vande Bharat Chair Car.
