A video of a man interacting with two Korean tourists at Delhi's India Gate has been circulating on social media for a few days. The video has sparked criticism of the man and a discussion over the safety and security of foreign tourists and the way they are treated in the country.
The clip shows a man walking up to the women near the historic monument. The man shows a fist bump, saying, "Hello, excuse me, my dream, punch, punch."
One of the two Korean tourists asked, "You want to punch me?", confused by his words. The women understood him only after another man behind the camera said, "Fist bump."
The woman complies, but things didn't end there as the man expressed another wish. The man expresses a desire to hug them, to which one of them agreed and embraced him.

During the whole episode, the Korean tourists could be seen looking uncomfortable. To add further embarrassment to the nation, the man said, "You are so cute. I love you," extending his hand as he walked away.
The women laughed it off, which appeared to be an attempt to diffuse the situation. The short video of the unwelcoming and inhospitable incident went viral on social media. People called it disrespectful and an inappropriate behaviour towards the foreign tourists.
A few others highlighted the embarrassment such incidents bring to the nation when the visitors take memories like these to their countries.
