In collaboration with Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News, Google has launched its flagship ‘DigiKavach’ programme with a campaign titled "Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Saath Sach Ka", starting Friday in Delhi. The initiative aims to protect senior citizens from online fraud and scams while educating them about the importance of digital safety.
Trainers will guide participants on safe online practices, while fact-checkers will conduct a special session on September 26 at Ashok Vihar, New Delhi. Experts will also share tips on avoiding digital fraud. Attendance is by invitation only.

About the Campaign
Under the "Digital Safety for Senior Citizens: Saath Sach Ka" campaign, teams from Dainik Jagran and Vishvas News will organise training sessions through seminars and webinars across the country. Covering 30 cities in 20 states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Punjab, and Uttarakhand, the programme will equip citizens with the skills to identify and avoid online scams.
Google’s DigiKavach campaign continues to raise awareness against digital fraud in India, with the larger goal of helping people stay vigilant and secure in the online world.
