In a hit-and-run incident, a schoolboy was struck by a cab in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, after he lost his balance and fell to the ground on Wednesday. The accident occurred within the Ajnara Homes residential complex.

A CCTV footage shows the boy running toward the school gate of the society with a girl, later identified as his sister. As they approached the entrance, the boy suddenly stumbled and fell. Moments later, a cab came from behind and its front wheel ran over the child, leaving him injured on the road.

The child was taken to the hospital, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to a report by the Times of India.

In another incident, an 86-year-old woman tragically lost her life when she was run over by a PRTC bus on the Zirakpur–Patiala road near Lucky Dhaba.

The accident occurred around 2:15 pm, shortly after the woman had just gotten off the bus.
