Gujarat: Major Fire Breaks Out At Factory In Bharuch's Industrial Area; Firefighting Ops Underway

In a tragic incident, a major fire erupted at a private factory in the industrial area of Gujarat's Bharuch district. The officials stated that the fire created panic among the workers of the industrial area, adding that the flames could be seen from a large distance. They further stated that more than 15 fire tenders are present at the site to control the flames and no causalities and injuries have been reported yet.

Earlier on September 11, a chaotic situation prevailed at a railway station in Ghaziabad's Sahibabad after a fire broke out in the parcel coach of a special train in Sahibabad. The train was going from Delhi to Bihar's Purnia. It was immediately stopped in Ghaziabad after spotting fire.

The staff of the Uttar Pradesh Fire Services rushed to the spot soon after being informed about the burning train. They showed promptness and controlled the fire, after which the train was sent further.

The railway officials said they have launched an investigation into the matter. The cause of the fire will be ascertained in the probe, they added. No casualties have been reported in the incident, the officials said, adding that the assessment of loss of the properties is being done.
