Haryana Mayor Election Result Winner List 2025: The BJP on Wednesday swept the Mayor posts across 9 Municipal Corporations in Haryana, with the saffron brigade winning 9. According to the results announced by the State Election Commission, the BJP has secured Mayor posts in nine Municipal Corporations, including Sonipat, Rohtak, Hisar, Panipat, Faridabad, Karnal, Ambala, Yamnanagar and Gurugram.

In Sonipat, BJP's Mayor candidate Rajiv Jain defeated Congress’ Kamal Diwan by around 34,766 votes. In Rohtak, BJP's candidate Ram Avtar Valmiki defeated Congress' Suraj Mal Kiloi by a margin of over 45,000 votes to become the Mayor. In Hisar, BJP's Mayor candidate Praveen Popli defeated Congress' Krishna Singla by 64,456 votes.

In Gurugram, BJP's Raj Rani won the Mayor post by defeating Congress' Seema Pahuja by over 1.79 lakh votes. In Panipat, BJP's Komal Saini defeated Congress' Savita Garg by a margin of over 1.20 lakh votes to secure the mayor post.

Meanwhile, Manesar Municipal Corporation also got its first mayor since its formation in 2020. In Manesar, the BJP has suffered a major setback with Independent candidate Inderjit Yadav securing victory by 2,293 votes. Yadav clinched 26,393 votes, defeating BJP’s mayoral candidate Sunder Lal, who secured 24,100 votes.

The counting of votes for the Haryana Nagar Nikay Chunav (Municipal Elections) began Wednesday, with final results expected to be announced later today. Elections to the seven Municipal Corporations were held on March 2. These include: Gurugram, Manesar, Faridabad, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal and Yamnanagar. Bye-elections for the post of Mayors in Ambala and Sonipat Municipal Corporations were also held on March 2. Meanwhile, the voting for the Panipat Municipal Corporation election was held on March 9.
