Haryana Shocker: In a startling incident, a 35-year-old woman was gangraped inside an empty train coach in Panipat, the police said on Monday. According to the police, the woman was missing from June 24, and her missing complaint was received on June 26, two days later. She left the house without telling her husband after they had a quarrel.
The victim's husband told the police that many times before also she had left the home following the fight between them, but every time she would return on her own. But this time she didn't return even after two days. Narrating her ordeal, the woman told the police that she was sitting at a nearby railway station after she had eft her home when a person came to her, claiming that her husband had sent her.
She alleged that the person took her to an empty train coach and raped her. Later, she alleged, that two other perpetrators came and raped her.

SHO of Quilla police station, Shri Niwas said, "She said he took her with him and boarded an empty bogie of a stationary train where he raped her. Later, two other men joined him and raped her."
The traumatised woman also said that the accused took her to Sonipat and threw her on the tracks where she was run over by the train and she lost her leg. The woman was admitted to a hospital where she was getting treatment.
FIR registered, Probe underway
SHO Niwas said, "We registered a Zero FIR for gangrape and forwarded it to the Panipat Government Railway Police (GRP) for further action."

Meanwhile, SHO of the Government Railway Police, Inspector Rajesh, said that they had received a zero FIR on Sunday evening, and further investigation was underway.
