In a horrifying incident, a high-speed Hayabusa crashed into a Zomato delivery boy’s bike in Mysuru after skidding for several metres. The incident took place on July 6 in Mysuru. The video, which was recorded on a CCTV camera, was later posted on social media.
As recorded in the CCTV footage, the speeding Hayabusa superbike hit a Zomato delivery bike rider, riding along the roadside, before skidding and crashing. The Zomato delivery boy was thrown off the bike and fell to the ground, away from his bike.

The Zomato bike rider was identified as Kartik. Soon after the accident, he died on the spot. The Hayabusa was ridden by Syed Saroon, a resident of Chamarajanagar, Karnataka. The Hayabusa skidded the delivery boy’s bike for several metres and then crashed and turned into flames due to a suspected petrol leak. Syed Saroon was soon rushed to the hospital. However, at the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.

The incident was registered at the NR Traffic Police Station, and a further probe is underway. Eyewitnesses alleged Syed, along with two others, had been filming reels performing stunts at high speed before the accident. The video of the incident went viral on social media, sparking public outrage. The local residents raised concerns over the growing menace of reckless biking on the city’s roads, especially during the night.
